ESTAD 2025
https://www.aimnet.it/estad2025/7th ESTAD 2025 will be hosted by AIM, the Italian Association for Metallurgy, in cooperation with Siderweb – the Italian steel community, in Verona – Italy on 6-9 October 2025.
ESTAD was founded ten years ago with the aim of creating a flagship conference bringing together steel manufacturers, suppliers, users, universities, research institutes and plant engineers and has become a leading conference for metallurgy and materials technology.
The meeting will be focused on the technological advances, changes of the supply chain involving the raw materials and energy sources, transformation of the production processes and plants to accomplish the twin transition (ecological and digital) and the new perspective of steel applications.
FOCUS
The Congress will focus on all technical aspects within the following six main fields
- Ironmaking
- Steelmaking
- Rolling of flat and long products, Forging
- Steel materials and their application, Additive manufacturing, Surface technologies
- Hydrogen-based steelmaking, CO2-Mitigation, Transformation / Environment / Energy
- Digital transformation
PRELIMINARY TIMETABLE
Monday 6 October 2025 (16:00-18:30): Early Congress registration and new on-site registration (pick-up of Congress material; possibility for speakers to upload their presentation at the slide centre)
Tuesday 7 October 2025: Opening/plenary session | Technical sessions | Get-together
Wednesday 8 October 2025: Technical sessions | Congress dinner
Thursday 9 October 2025: Technical sessions | Closing session
